Mulching Machine and Machinery Operator
Location: Mackay and surrounding area
Salary: Competitive pay based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mulching machines safely and efficiently to clear land.
- Perform tree felling and site preparation as needed.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a mulching machine or large skidsteer operator with attachments.
- Background in forestry and tree felling.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
—Ability to work unsupervised and work to a plan.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with machinery and hydraulics.
- Minimum of HC truck license
- Excavator and Skid Steer tickets
- Standard 11 or ability to obtain
- Coal Board Medical or ability to obtain
- White Card
- Other abilities such as chainsaw and earthworks experience highly regarded.
